A&E reverses decision on 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch

LOS ANGELES—The A&E channel said it's reversing its decision to drop "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson from the show for his remarks about gays. In a statement Friday, A&E said it decided to bring Robertson back after discussions with the Robertson family and "numerous advocacy groups."
The channel had put Robertson on what it called "hiatus" following his comments in a magazine article about how the Bible informs his view of gays.
His comments were slammed by groups including GLAAD, the gay media watch organization. But A&E's decision drew a backlash from those who said they supported Robertson's comments and others who defended him on the basis of freedom of speech.

Please Bring Back Phil Robertson To Duck Dynasty,
We admire Mr Robertson for his old-school, refreshing, simple and straight-forward honesty. While you may not agree with his beliefs, punishing him for being a Christian who believes in the Bible and the fans of Duck Dynasty for them is persecution and down-right un-American.
Millions of people agree with the Bible, but we face the same ridicule and hatred of those who complain of the same treatment. We don't fear gays, we disagree with their lifestyle, we love the sinner, yet hate the sin. We stand behind Mr Robertson's sentiments as they are straight from the Word of God. This country came about because of the need for religious and political freedom. Now in 2013 a Christian cannot state his beliefs, without being ostracized.

as a big internet person and very big overseas i will NOT BUY season 4 coming out next season if they don't fix there doing A and E a company but we are there buyers and killer of company .they killed dog and his back ... not with A and E but his back and show still good ... hopefully if they do kill show someone else picks it up.....Phil Roberson Duck Dynasty on A&E as seen on tv show he said he never had video games,cell phone,laptops in his life he's in his 70's as a fan my age should understand this.he also said he never understand this new age of computer and video games and texturing and how they can go hrs doing it .i don't support A and E for what they did also if they remove one more show i like i will boycott A and E. change.org well happen if show gone and his not put back on the air! i hope with my 20,000 + follwers you back me up ..no one happy happy here on A and E ...
