Backed by funds from a wealthy patron and a team of fellow adventurers, treasure-seeker Darren McCall (Max Martini) treks into the jungle to pull a mythical dagger from its final resting place. But doing so accidentally stirs a long-dormant plant monster. To make matters worse, the terrifying creature has a craving for human blood, which makes McCall and his quaking crew akin to a silver platter of tasty morsels.
