1. Can my employer videotape me?
In order for an employer to legally videotape you it must have some legitimate business purpose - but this is not hard to fulfill. In 2001, more than 15% of midsize and large companies videotaped employees to evaluate their job performance, and almost 38% filmed employees for security purposes.
Federal law seems to allow for the videotaping of any individual, even without his or her knowledge or consent, as long as it is not done to commit a crime. Some states, however, have placed further restrictions on videotaping, and may require that everyone involved in the conversation be aware of, and consent to, the taping. Further, some states, like Connecticut, have implemented stricter laws for employers, fining them for overuse of video cameras

texas nrlb case
Austin, Texas
Professional trade association
16-CA-025349
A supervisor at a dental association was fired after she refused to divulge the names of employees who had anonymously signed a petition protesting top management. The Board found the discharge was unlawful because she had rightfully refused to violate federal labor law by punishing concerted activity. In a settlement, the supervisor and another former employee waived reinstatement in exchange for $900,000 in lost wages and benefits.
Eleven employees of the Texas Dental Association, which represents more than 7,000 dentists in the state, signed a petition that complained about unfair treatment by top management at the Austin headquarters. The employees signed the petition using aliases and delivered it to association delegates at an annual meeting.
The delegates declined to investigate, and, after the meeting, the executive director of the association set about trying to learn who had written the petition. A forensic examination of office equipment found a fragment of the petition on the computer of employee Nathan C., who was immediately fired. The association’s general manager, Barbara L., was also fired after she refused to divulge the names of others involved.
Barbara and Nathan filed charges with the Ft. Worth regional office of the NLRB, which investigated and issued a complaint alleging that both firings were unlawful because they were predicated on protected concerted activity.
The case was heard by an NLRB Administrative Law Judge, who ruled that both terminations were illegal. The ruling was upheld by the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, and was then appealed to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
While the case was pending, however, the parties reached a settlement under which both employees waived reinstatement, but were awarded $900,000 in payment for lost wages and benefits.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game (2009)
Description Of Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Watch out for slime and avoid crossing the streams in this surprise continuation of Sony Pictures' Ghostbusters franchise. Written by stars Harold Ramis and Dan Ackroyd, who scripted both blockbuster films, Ghostbusters: The Video Game features a storyline set two years after the events depicted in Ghostbusters 2. Hailed by New York City residents as heroes, the Ghostbusters are hoping to turn their thriving business into a franchise, much to the chagrin of ex-EPA agent Walter Peck. After the Ghostbusters hire a new crewmember, the city is overwhelmed with a surge of paranormal activity. There's something even stranger in the neighborhood, and you're getting the call.
Since the game is all about hunting down and capturing ghosts, the perspective is set behind your character's shoulder to offer a clear view of the rooms and spectral anomalies ahead. The third-person viewpoint also displays one of the most important tools you'll have in confronting the ghosts: the Proton Pack. You must monitor the Proton Pack's power consumption to avoid overheating the device, and the backpack's flashing display also indicates health and weapon charge. Your character will be in constant radio communication with other members of the Ghostbusters team, including Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddmore, each voiced by the movie's original actors.
While the storyline and core play mechanics are the same across platforms, the Wii and PlayStation 2 games share a simplified, cartoon-like art style and an emphasis on multiplayer action. The first notable difference is cooperative support throughout the campaign via split-screen display, with the Wii version offering four-player action and the PlayStation 2 game offering two. Competitive modes include two playable sides: Ghostbusters or ghosts. As a ghost, you can fly or phase through specific areas in a room. You can also "scare" rivals by sneaking up behind them, leaving your victims more susceptible to attacks. As one of the Ghostbusters, you can use proton packs, ghost traps, and character-specific special techniques. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
